Worm screw gearings coaxial to wheels are specially designed and built by PASSERINI so that:<br \/>\n\u2022 The diameter of the casing is smaller than the one of any commercial product, height y results lower than any welding rotator of the same capacity.<br \/>\n\u2022 Owing to the bronze crown and worm screw special executions, the torque is greater than the one quoted by most competitors;<br \/>\n\u2022 The case is made of cast iron or steel and not of aluminium as the one of common gearings;<br \/>\n\u2022 Thanks to the small height y, the projection of load F falls on the wheel bracket and does not stress the screw that adjusts the wheels centre-to-centre distance.<br \/>\n2. Wheels are available:<br \/>\n\u2022 Made up in solid steel (superficially tempered upon request)<br \/>\n\u2022 Coated with rubber or with polyurethane<br \/>\n\u2022 Made of high density synthetic material<br \/>\n2a. The polyurethane coating is laid on a toothed metal core in order to double the face contact and to prevent any breakaway of the polyurethane layer.<br \/>\n3. Drive wheels are mechanically synchronized by a transmission shaft and the motor is protected by a strong carter made of chequered steel plate<br \/>\n4. Frames are extremely solid and machined on their upper face<br \/>\n5.
