CARPANO EQUIPMENT Srl started its business in 1992, producing portable automation and automation accessories.
Later on begins to manufacture the first manipulators in Aluminium by applying CNC to any single plant, despite its configuration and the axis to be handled determining, by this way, an exponential growth of its business.
A further increase is achieved with the purchasing in 2011 of PASSERINI’s brand and projects, a historic manufacturer in the same field since 1962.

1962-1971
The beginning of our story
Angelo Passerini founded the company that still bears his name today.
From the initial surface area of 400 m², the factory expands to 1000 m².
The factory is expanded to 3,000 m² and equipped with overhead cranes and a paint booth. The various departments (Technical, Administration, and Sales) are reorganized.
1972-1981
The first manipulator with a tactile half-joint
The first proportional joint tracking device with tactile probe is installed on a 6×4 m manipulator (or x vert) intended for OFF. MECC. CAVAZZA – Ozzano dell’Emilia (BO).
Supply to GIUNTI – Umbertide (PG) of the first machine with a highly complex, programmable automatic cycle managed by a punched card.

1982–1991
Robot peripherals
Supply of CNC equipment to complement CLOOS robotic systems.
PASSERINI joins the ESAB Group.
1992–2001
Carpano Equipment S.r.l. is born.
CARPANO EQUIPMENT Srl is born, its initial catalogue consisting of the Squirrel motorised trolley, a CEW1 electronic oscillator and the AVC.
Passerini regains his autonomy.
CARPANO EQUIPMENT Srl builds the IG tactile joint tracker.
2002-2011
AI Power Manipulators Are Born
The first Al Power manipulators go on sale.
Introduction of the first CNC, integrated into the systems.
CARPANO EQUIPMENT Srl acquires Passerini and consolidates the operations of both companies in a new 2200 m² headquarters.
2012-TODAY
Portal for Frecciarossa 1000
Delivery to Ansaldobreda of a double-headed gantry for welding the roof and frame of the new Frecciarossa 1000 high-speed train.
New ONE counter tables.
AVC also for MIG processes.
New TWO and FIVE tables. CARPANO EQUIPMENT Srl also expands its production facility from 2200 m² to 3500 m².
